System Design Project Manager - HVDC

Overview

Hitachi Energy is seeking a System Design Project Manager to support HVDC projects and tenders, managing scope, budget and schedule while ensuring quality requirements are met.

What you'll do

• Support projects and tenders for HVDC System Design, managing scope, budget and schedule while ensuring quality requirements are met
• Apply project management and analytical skills proactively
• Interface with other departments in the HVDC organization, representing the System Design team in project and tender meetings and discussions
• Represent System Design in customer meetings
• Participate in technical design reviews and technical problem solving
• Manage the technical coordination of System Design deliveries, managing risks and identifying opportunities to reduce time and cost while ensuring quality requirements are met
• Over time, manage complex projects independently

What you'll need

• Master's or bachelor's degree in Electric Power Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• 7+ years of project management experience from working in engineering
• Familiarity with managing system delivery projects or tenders
• Fluency in English

Nice to have

• HVDC system design knowledge
• Additional languages
