Systems Engineer – SD-WAN & SD-Branch (Enterprise)

Overview

Systems Engineer role supporting SD-WAN and SD-Branch enterprise solutions with technical engineering support for sales and channel partners.

What you'll do

• Partner with account teams to provide technical systems engineering support for enterprise customers and channel partners.
• Provide advanced pre-sales support to drive sales of VeloCloud SD-WAN and campus solutions through channel partners and directly to end customers.
• Deliver presentations, demonstrations, and participate in sales calls and conversations with prospects and customers.
• Architect and design VeloCloud SD-WAN and integrated Arista solutions, including cloud-delivered architecture and security capabilities.
• Architect and position the Arista SD-Branch architecture for branch deployments, including zero trust networking and branch-level topology.
• Translate customer WAN requirements into design documents, statements of work, bills of materials, and support arrangements.

What you'll need

• Minimum of 7+ years of pre-sales experience with data centers, campus, WAN technologies, or cloud services.
• Experience managing POCs, field trials, and beta programs.
• Expert knowledge in three or more of: Ethernet/LAN switching, IPSec, IP routing (OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, VxLAN, EVPN, Multicast, QoS, and SD-WAN.
• Familiarity with enabling routing functionality in Virtual Private Cloud from AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Communication skills to establish rapport and credibility with enterprise customers and channel partners.
• Technical marketing engineer, sales engineer, or networking engineer experience in the WAN networking space.
