Systems Engineering - Advisor II

Overview

Systems Engineering Advisor II role responsible for designing, implementing and managing Fiserv's complex systems infrastructure, aligning system capabilities with business needs.

What you'll do

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of complex systems infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including configurations, operations, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and systems.
• Conduct system assessments and implement security measures.
• Provide advanced technical support and guidance to ensure system reliability.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in systems engineering.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with system design and implementation.
• 3+ years of experience with Linux and Windows server environments.
• 3+ years of experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• 3+ years of experience with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.
• 3+ years of experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
• 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
