Job description

Overview

Systems/Software Engineer II to develop products and platforms for next-generation Access and Aggregation deployments in Metro and Mobile Backhaul, using JunOS or Junos EVO architecture.

What you'll do

Develop product platforms for next-gen Access and Aggregation deployments, Metro, and Mobile Backhaul.
Work with product management and system/test teams to deliver high-quality products/solutions.
Collaborate with Juniper Technical Assistance Team to provide engineering support for critical customer escalations.

What you'll need

BS/MS in CS/CE or similar field with a minimum of 6 years of software development experience.
Proficiency in C and C++ programming and debugging.
Knowledge of L2 protocols including STP, ERPS, 802.1x, jflow, and Sflow.
Experience with Layer 2 bridging/switching.
Experience with Unix/Linux systems including user-space processes, kernel, socket programming, and inter-process communication.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Details

Onsite role with expectation to primarily work from an HPE office.
Location: Bengaluru, Karnātaka, India.
