Technical Application Scientist I (m/f/d)

Overview

Technical Application Scientist I serves as a primary point of contact for customers, providing technical and pre-sales support and facilitating scientific collaboration.

What you'll do

• Build relationships with key customers/focus accounts in person and remotely.
• Provide technology education on relevant new technologies.
• Conduct and present technical seminars and provide trainings.
• Coordinate product demonstrations and technical support for labs.
• Support direct sales efforts in collaboration with Global Sales Operations.
• Represent the company at user group meetings, scientific conferences, and local shows.
• Manage customer retention data in Salesforce and prepare periodic territory reports.

What you'll need

• PhD in Life Sciences or related specialty (including biotechnology).
• Fluency in speaking and writing German.
• Or, a Master’s degree in biology or related specialty with 3+ years’ experience in an academic, industry, or clinical lab setting.
• 2+ years of direct experience with multi-parameter flow cytometry.
• Experience with cellular assays (in-vitro or primary cell).
• Molecular biology wet lab experience (e.g., Western, PCR, ELISA, ELISpot).

Nice to have

• Previous job experience in a field-based role.
• Previous industry work experience.
• Research experience in Cell Biology, Immunology, or Cancer Biology.

Details

• Location: Germany (Remote) with primary work location in Northern Germany; Hamburg preferred.
• Requires frequent local travel in Northern Germany and limited overnight travel.
