Technical Application Specialist

Overview

A developing specialist role with growing independence and responsibility in routine tasks and projects, based at Lloyds Technology Centre in Hyderabad.

What you'll do

• Edit documents to fit the organisation's style guidelines and prepare information for publication using established procedures and standards.
• Track budgets and bring variances to the attention of senior colleagues while working within established budgeting systems.
• Support and enable others to use and benefit from existing data management systems.
• Develop personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities, while also coaching others as required.
• Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems and procedures, then use established change management programmes to deliver prescribed outcomes and/or provide support services.
• Highlight shortcomings and suggest improvements in current IT Security processes, systems and procedures within assigned unit and/or discipline.
• Help others use and benefit from the existing knowledge management systems.
• Support others by performing prescribed product development/engineering activities (e.g., analysing client situations, interpreting data, etc.) using existing procedures.
• Navigate a wide variety of existing processes, procedures and precedents to interpret data and identify possible answers.
• Provide primary supervision to a team performing transactional work or supervise a small group performing junior professional tasks.
• Use product specifications to design test procedures and standards.
