Technical Architect

Overview

Technical Architect responsible for leading silicon validation, board bring-up, hardware debugging, and failure analysis for complex SoCs, MCUs, and ASICs.

What you'll do

• Lead pre- and post-silicon functional validation for SoCs, MCUs, and ASICs.
• Drive board bring-up across power, reset, clock, straps, fuses, initialization, and JTAG debug.
• Develop validation plans, test cases, and debug strategies.
• Investigate root causes of boot failures, system hangs, data corruption, and hardware failures.
• Validate and debug PCIe, Ethernet, CAN/CAN FD, LIN, FlexRay, UART, I2C, and SPI interfaces.
• Lead lab validation, signal tracing, issue tracking, metrics, and closure activities.
• Mentor validation engineers and coordinate issue resolution with cross-functional teams.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in silicon bring-up, board debugging, protocol validation, and hardware failure analysis.
• Experience with SoC, MCU, or ASIC bring-up and functional validation.
• Knowledge of power, reset, clocking, straps, configuration errors, SRAM/Flash, and register-level configuration.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, bus sniffers, and JTAG.
• Ability to read schematics and perform pin-level signal tracing.
• Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• B.E., B.Tech, M.E., or M.Tech in a relevant engineering field.
