Overview
Technical Architect for the Ultra Fresh product team, leading technical architecture and integration design for implementing RELEX SaaS for demand forecasting and replenishment.
What you'll do
- Own and evolve the technical architecture for the RELEX SaaS solution.
- Act as design authority for the METRO–RELEX integration landscape.
- Define architecture artifacts including blueprint, interface specifications, integration patterns, and data flow design.
- Lead inbound and outbound integrations between METRO systems and RELEX.
- Govern master, transactional, and historical data loading and related interface flows.
- Provide architectural guidance to implementation engineers and review designs and readiness before go-live.
- Support SIT/UAT/cutover/go-live and perform technical root-cause analysis for integration issues.
What you'll need
- Strong experience in solution/technical/integration architecture or senior engineering in enterprise-scale projects.
- Solid understanding of SaaS implementation models and shared responsibility/integration constraints.
- Knowledge of integration architecture including REST APIs and batch/file-based integrations.
- Experience designing and operating integrations between enterprise systems and external SaaS platforms.
- Experience with Java, SQL, PL/SQL, Spring Boot, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Experience with databases and data platforms such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery.
- Experience using cloud/DevOps/observability tools such as Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub, SonarQube, and DataDog.

- Role context: Architect replaces previous architectural ownership (Alexandru Modoran) and becomes the main technical authority for the Ultra Fresh team.
