Technical Implementation Engineer

Overview

Own technical onboarding, data ingestion, and custom integrations for customers using the Qualys platform. Apply Python, APIs, scripting, and practical AI tooling to automate implementation work and support customer deployments.

What you'll do

• Build and validate CSV and bulk data ingestion pipelines into ETM.
• Develop integrations using Qualys and third-party APIs.
• Join customer calls to scope requirements and troubleshoot live issues.
• Guide network, security, and IT stakeholders through implementation steps.
• Use AI agents and scripting to automate recurring implementation tasks.
• Create runbooks and configuration documentation for post-go-live support.
• Build controlled internal agents for implementation workflows.

What you'll need

• Programming proficiency, preferably in Python.
• Solid REST API experience, including authentication, pagination, rate limits, and webhooks.
• Experience manipulating and validating CSV or structured data at scale.
• Experience integrating at least one ticketing or ITSM platform.
• Experience or strong aptitude with AI agent tooling for workflow automation.
• Strong verbal communication for technical customer discussions.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Qualys VMDR/ETM or comparable vulnerability management platforms.
• Experience with SOAR platforms or security automation.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP APIs for asset ingestion.
• Basic understanding of vulnerability management workflows.

Details

• Location: Pune.
• Relocation to Pune is required.
• Work from the office 3 days per week.
• Role may involve night shifts.
