Technical Presales Engineer

Overview

Technical Presales Engineer (Solutions Consultant) providing technical leadership and solution guidance for customer security transformation.

What you'll do

• Build and implement strategic technical account plans targeting cross-platform solutions.
• Conduct discovery to articulate technical, operational, and commercial imperatives.
• Define technical solutions across the PANW portfolio based on customer business needs.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams for implementation and adoption.
• Deliver customer-specific demos, presentations, and workshops, and influence stakeholders.
• Lead technical validation efforts to support technical win in assigned opportunities.

What you'll need

• Strong professional communication skills in German and English.
• Understanding of data networking and/or modern application design and cloud architectures.
• Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders.
• Ability to create and deliver technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements.
• Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing security solutions (e.g., Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, or SOC Transformation Technologies).
• Comfort with complex sales across long processes and multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions.
