Technical Product Lead - AI Neobank App

Overview

Technical Product Lead to own a vertical end-to-end for an AI neobank superapp in Southeast Asia, spanning payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading.

What you'll do

• Own a product vertical from strategy and outcomes through technical design, delivery, and launch.
• Shape technical designs with engineering across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, and scalability.
• Drive trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory needs, and user experience.
• Embed regulatory requirements into the product, including KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing.
• Apply AI to improve outcomes with evaluation, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling.
• Ship products across external dependencies such as regulatory approvals and third-party partners.
• Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance around product decisions and launch requirements.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of product management experience owning complex technical products end-to-end.
• Strong technical foundation in architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems.
• Experience working closely with engineers to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs.
• Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or another regulated high-consequence domain.
• Strong product judgment to make trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints.
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation, reliability, and knowing when not to use AI.

Nice to have

• Engineering or highly technical product background.
• Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products.
• Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products.
