Technical Program Manager, Compute

Overview

Technical Program Manager for the Compute team, driving planning, coordination, and execution of programs that keep compute infrastructure running efficiently at scale.

What you'll do

• Own and drive critical programs across the compute lifecycle.
• Maintain operational visibility into compute supply, demand, utilization, and health.
• Coordinate compute transitions across cloud providers and hardware platforms.
• Align compute planning, allocation, and usage with infrastructure and research leadership.
• Identify and close operational gaps via tooling, processes, or cross-team communication.
• Lead trade-off discussions across utilization, cost, latency, and reliability.
• Develop and improve planning, tracking, and execution frameworks for compute programs.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of technical program management experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or compute-intensive environments.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional programs across multiple engineering teams with competing priorities and ambiguous requirements.
• Experience working with research or ML teams to translate needs into operational plans and technical requirements.
• Comfort working on cloud infrastructure, cluster management, job scheduling, and resource orchestration.
• Strong communication skills to engage with engineers, researchers, finance, and executive leadership.
• Track record building trust with engineering teams and driving changes through influence.
