Technical Program Manager, API Platform

Overview

Technical Program Manager for Anthropic’s API platform, focused on scaling and improving core efficiency across the API stack and the infrastructure it runs on.

What you'll do

• Drive scaling and core efficiency programs for the API stack from architecture to sequenced delivery.
• Run multiple large programs simultaneously across infrastructure, networking, and the API layer.
• Coordinate end-to-end cross-org dependencies between API, infrastructure, database, networking, and inference teams.
• Clarify decision ownership and how trade-offs and isolated streams roll into a single program view.
• Surface risks, progress, and trade-offs to engineering leadership with appropriate cadence.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of technical program management experience.
• Track record delivering complex, cross-functional programs.
• Experience with API platforms, distributed systems, and core infrastructure programs.
• Driven scaling, performance, or efficiency programs for high-volume production systems.
• Coordinated programs spanning many partner organizations with dependency and escalation management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
