Technical Recruiter - Engineering

Overview

Technical Recruiter for the R&D Org at TRM Labs, responsible for attracting, engaging and hiring top technical talent across a variety of technical roles and teams.

What you'll do

• Build a high-velocity recruiting engine that efficiently identifies and recruits the best technical talent to TRM.
• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of technical roles and teams.
• Create positive candidate experiences throughout every touchpoint.
• Develop creative and impactful sourcing strategies to find and hire a diverse and exceptional team.
• Continuously improve recruiting processes and increase the efficiency of hiring.

What you'll need

• 5-7+ years of technical recruiting experience in high-growth US-headquartered tech startups.
• Proven experience in hiring hard-to-fill technical roles, with expertise in using sourcing tools, conducting market research, and developing personalized outreach strategies.
• Ability to analyze and interpret recruiting metrics, conversion rates, and market data, using these insights to refine strategies and provide actionable feedback to hiring managers.
• Quickly familiarize oneself with new roles and requirements, showing flexibility, curiosity, and a high tolerance for change in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Exceptional communication skills to work effectively with hiring managers, provide regular updates, and manage expectations; skilled at building trust and acting as a strategic partner in the hiring process.
• Strong persistence and a results-oriented mindset to handle challenges, follow up on passive leads, and meet ambitious outreach targets.
• AI fluency: among the top 10 percent of operators in your function in applying AI to accelerate workflows, structure and solve problems, improve output quality, and increase speed and leverage.

• Experience sourcing for Data Science, Backend, Frontend, Full-Stack, Infrastructure, and/or Security teams.

Details

• Location: United States. Distributed-first company with hubs in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Washington D.C., London, and Singapore; headquartered in San Francisco.
• Base salary range: $130,000 - $170,000 (US base salary only), plus possible eligibility for TRM's equity plan.
• Interview process includes recruiter intro, hiring manager interview, first round (1-2 interviews), hands-on case study in a panel-style final round, and references.
• Use of AI notetakers or real-time interview assistants during TRM interviews is not permitted without prior approval.
