Overview

Contamination Control Technician responsible for maintaining a controlled cleanroom environment through contamination monitoring and control across cleanroom areas, tools, and processes.

What you'll do

• Perform cleanroom environmental surveys and area buy-offs, including filter fan unit surface velocity and leak scans.
• Conduct airborne particle counts and surface contamination sampling.
• Execute routine and event-driven sampling of equipment, process tools, and materials to verify cleanliness.
• Measure and analyze process samples for particulate or molecular contamination.
• Enforce cleanroom protocol compliance, including gowning procedures and personnel behavior.
• Handle and sample cleanroom indirect materials to ensure contamination control requirements are met.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, sampling results, and buy-off records per SOPs and regulatory standards.

What you'll need

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification in environmental science, cleanroom technology, or a related field.
• Ability to work on a 12-hour shift schedule including day/night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Work in cleanroom gowning for extended periods on shift.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Knowledge of ISO 14644 cleanroom standards and contamination control practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following protocols.
