Technology Support Engineer

Overview

Support and administer Cisco Unified Communications and Collaboration platforms, including CUCM, Unity Connection, CUBE, SIP infrastructure, and related voice services.

What you'll do

• Administer and support Cisco Unified Communications Manager environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot IP Phones, device pools, CSS, partitions, route patterns, route lists, and SIP trunks.
• Support voicemail administration and troubleshooting in Cisco Unity Connection.
• Analyze call routing issues using CDR, RTMT, DNA, and trace analysis.
• Manage SIP gateways, CUBE, and PSTN connectivity.
• Perform incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Participate in upgrades, patching, migrations, on-call support, and major incident management.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in Unified Communications and Collaboration technologies.
• Experience with CUCM, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco CUBE, and Cisco Jabber/Webex App.
• Knowledge of SIP, H.323, RTP, and SRTP protocols.
• Experience with SIP trunks, voice gateways, route patterns, CSS, partitions, and translation patterns.
• Experience with RTMT, CDR analysis, and DNA.
• Basic understanding of SBCs and PSTN integrations.
• 15 years of full-time education.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Teams Calling or Direct Routing.
• Experience with Audiocodes or Oracle SBC.
• Knowledge of Cisco IM & Presence, Expressway, UCCX, Webex Calling, or Wireshark packet analysis.
