Technology Support Engineer

Overview

As a Technology Support Engineer, you will resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components to keep operations stable, managing change requests and updating documentation to support troubleshooting.

What you'll do

• Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability.
• Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC).
• Update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.
• Assist in monitoring system performance and proactively identify potential issues to prevent downtime.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on technical challenges.
• Participate in the development and improvement of operational processes to enhance service delivery.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in VMware Virtualization Administration.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in VMware Virtualization Administration.
• Experience with managing virtual machine lifecycle including deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of virtualization infrastructure components and their integration within enterprise environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex virtualization issues affecting system availability and performance.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery processes in virtualized environments to ensure data integrity.
• Knowledge of network and storage concepts as they relate to virtualization platforms.
