Tendering Engineer

Overview

The Tendering Engineer provides technical support for sales by analyzing customer requirements, configuring pump solutions, and preparing technical and commercial offers. The role supports tendering, risk evaluation, negotiations, and order handover for pump and rotating-equipment projects.

What you'll do

• Review inquiry documents and prepare timely quotations for pump products.
• Analyze customer requirements for complex applications and products.
• Develop technical solutions and configure pumps and accessories.
• Evaluate subcontractor offers and coordinate expediting activities.
• Assess technical and commercial project risks during bidding.
• Prepare presentations and participate in customer and subcontractor negotiations.
• Complete order handover and maintain sales-system data.

What you'll need

• More than 5 years of work experience.
• A completed technical degree, ideally in mechanical, industrial, or process engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience in pump design, international tendering or sales, project management, or an equivalent discipline.
• Knowledge of pumps or rotating equipment and accessories.
• A structured approach and ability to break down complex issues with a bid team.
• Ability to analyze technical and commercial risks and develop mitigation approaches.
