Team Lead - Sales Development

Overview

Team Lead - Sales Development leads a Sales Development team and drives top-of-funnel activity while coaching BDRs to meet their potential.

What you'll do

• Oversee day-to-day Sales Development team operations to ensure consistent execution and alignment.
• Hire, train, and coach Business Development Representatives (BDRs).
• Optimize Sales Development processes by identifying inefficiencies and implementing best practices.
• Set and monitor team KPIs for lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline contribution.
• Manage CRM documentation in Salesforce and maintain reporting dashboards.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product, and other stakeholders for go-to-market alignment.

What you'll need

• 7-10 years of Sales Development experience, particularly in SaaS or B2B technology sales.
• Experience leading high-performing teams of SDRs/BDRs.
• At least 2+ years managing junior Sales Development Representatives or Business Development Representatives.
• Proficiency with prospecting/sales tools including Salesforce, Outreach or SalesLoft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Experience with lead generation and data cleansing/prospecting best practices.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
