Territory Manager- Mumbai

Overview

Territory Manager role in Lilly's commercial function in Mumbai, responsible for engaging doctors, paramedical staff, retailers and stockists in an assigned territory to achieve sales targets while following compliance guidelines.

What you'll do

• Analyze market trends and develop a sales plan for the assigned territory.
• Develop a detailed territory business plan, making strategic decisions about goals and resource investments, and monitor and measure the plan.
• Refresh and update MCL based on Retail Call Audit and market analysis; prepare a retail call list and a patch plan.
• Meet and engage designated doctors, promoting company products using patient focused selling principles.
• Conduct pre-call planning and post-call analysis, and record next call objectives in the approved CRM tool.
• Strengthen relationships with doctors, paramedics, retailers and stockists.
• Finalize the quarterly doctor engagement plan and conduct related programs, including Retailer Awareness and Nurses awareness programs.
• Engage regularly with stockists, conduct physical stock verification, maintain first line and second line sales balance, and coordinate between stockist and CFA at closing.
• Identify new stockists and propose them to ASM.
• Report all doctor and retailer calls, programs conducted, and on-demand medical service requests; present sales trends in monthly reviews.

What you'll need

• Graduation in any field.
• Minimum one year of sales work experience.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Basic knowledge of therapeutic area and product segment.
• Emotional Intelligence, organizational skills and learning agility.

Nice to have

• Science graduation (preferred).
