Trainee Specialist - Hardware Engineer

Overview

Trainee Specialist – Hardware Engineer focused on designing and developing evaluation kits and reference designs for Infineon microcontroller devices.

What you'll do

• Design and develop evaluation kits and reference designs for new MCUs, including schematic design, PCB layout, and prototype testing.
• Create MCU schematics in Cadence and ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
• Bring up and test MCU boards, including debugging and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, and system engineering teams for integration of evaluation kits.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation such as user manuals, datasheets, and test reports.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback for quality and reliability.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics and communication Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 1~3 years of experience in hardware design and development.
• Proficiency in Cadence schematic design tools, including OrCAD and Allegro.
• Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuit design principles.
• Basic and extended serial communication protocol knowledge (e.g., SMIF, SDIO, CAN, MIPI).
• Strong understanding of power supply and motor control designs.
• Experience with bring-up and testing, including debugging hardware and software issues.
