Training Manager- Recruitment

Overview

Training Manager (Recruitment) responsible for promoting Merchant Navy career awareness among students, supporting cadet recruitment and providing application support for training systems.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute outreach programmes, career fairs, webinars, seminars and awareness campaigns to promote maritime careers and strengthen the cadet talent pipeline.
• Schedule interviews and follow up with prospective candidates.
• Coordinate and follow up with shortlisted candidates for timely submission of all documents required by AEMA for IMU verification.
• Assist the Head-Cadet Recruitment in preparing the merit list of the DNS batches.
• Respond to user queries related to LMS access, course enrolment and certificate issues.
• Regularly review LMS modules to ensure content is accessible and functional.
• Validate course completion workflows and ensure certificates are generated correctly.
• Respond to user queries related to CMS access and exam enrolment (C/N-test) and validate CMS task workflows.

• Working knowledge of cadet recruitment and selection processes.
• Psychometric assessment administration.
• Recruitment analytics and data management.
• Learning Management Systems (LMS/CMS) administration.
• E-learning and CBT development.
• Coordination, career counselling and student assessment.
• Employer branding.
• Networking and industry engagement; relationship building with schools and colleges.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• MBA (HR/Marketing) or equivalent.
• 5 years in recruitment and marketing.
• Working knowledge of the cadet selection and e-learning process.
