Overview

Transaction Risk Operations Analyst II to scale transaction monitoring operations and help ensure preparedness for unexpected events.

What you'll do

• Investigate and analyze system-generated transaction monitoring alerts across transaction types.
• Identify fraud trends by analyzing data and monitoring alerts for anomalies and outliers.
• Support RDC (Remote Deposit Capture) daily processing.
• Manage and document cases of suspicious activity with accurate recording of details and findings.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Limit risk exposure by assisting with transaction monitoring control ideas and strategies.
• Participate in risk assessments and help develop risk mitigation strategies.

What you'll need

• Preference for a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Preference for 2+ years analyzing fraud trends in a financial institution or fintech.
• Preference for prior transaction monitoring experience across credit, debit, checks, online, wire, and/or ACH.
• Detail-oriented with strong emphasis on accuracy.
• Ability to gather and analyze information during investigations and reviews.
• Proficiency using Excel to create spreadsheets, models, and reports.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective verbal and written communication.
