UL - Credit Cards AVP Product Owner

Overview

AVP Product Owner for Credit Cards, responsible for maximizing product value by defining product vision, managing and prioritizing the product backlog, and driving execution for end-to-end product capabilities.

What you'll do

• Define and communicate product vision and goals to delivery teams.
• Create, refine, and prioritize user stories and the product backlog.
• Participate in agile events including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Balance trade-offs across desirability, viability, and feasibility to ensure the right work is built.
• Gather customer feedback and use market research and industry trends to identify enhancements.
• Monitor product performance using KPIs and iterate via backlog and roadmap updates.
• Manage acceptance/rejection of sprint deliverables against agreed acceptance criteria.

What you'll need

• Demonstrable experience managing stakeholders in a matrix environment.
• Experience progressing delivery in a distributed product organisation within a clearly defined scope.
• Experience delivering change in large-scale digital environments with technology, data, operations, and control partners.
• Ability to translate product direction and regulatory intent into prioritized backlogs and delivery artefacts.
• Intermediate-level Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Knowledge and application of agile ways of working methodology including JIRA.
• Proven experience in a regulated unsecured lending environment with awareness of Consumer Duty, affordability, customer communications, and control obligations.

Nice to have

• Experience in digital product design and product management/ownership.
• Experience with Agentic AI, spec-driven development, or rapid prototyping.
• Experience in consumer lending.
