User Access Certification Analyst

Overview

User Access Certification Analyst for Point72’s technology team, focused on running and scaling user access certification processes and improving access hygiene through data analysis and reporting.

What you'll do

• Develop and scale the user access certification program to improve access hygiene and least-privilege enforcement.
• Support periodic access certifications across enterprise systems, including multiple reviews in parallel.
• Analyze and validate access-control datasets to flag excessive, inappropriate, privileged, or high-risk access.
• Perform data quality assurance and reconciliation to ensure entitlement data completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Track certification progress and remediation using metrics and dashboards and provide data-driven insights.
• Investigate access data discrepancies and coordinate with certifiers and application/system teams to resolve issues.
• Produce audit-ready reports and artifacts on certification results, access risk, and remediation outcomes.

What you'll need

• Provide 2–5 years of experience in identity and access management, IT risk, compliance, data analysis, or a related field.
• Have direct experience supporting user access certifications or access review processes.
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze, reconcile, and interpret access-related datasets at scale.
• Use data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI or similar platforms.
• Possess strong data validation and quality assurance skills with attention to detail.
• Have familiarity with audit/regulatory frameworks such as SOC and SOX.
• Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
