Overview
UX/UI Engineer Study Designer role focused on frontend engineering for clinical study design, translating clinical workflows into intuitive, high-performance user interfaces.
What you'll do
- Design and build interactive, visually distinctive Angular UI components (Angular 14–19+ with standalone architecture).
- Build reusable, modular UI components and contribute to design systems.
- Translate abstract or ambiguous design concepts into polished, production-ready interfaces.
- Write clean, type-safe TypeScript code with modern CSS/SCSS styling.
- Manage asynchronous data flows, including error handling and state management, using RxJS.
- Integrate secure authentication flows using Angular OAuth2/OIDC and connect apps to REST APIs and GraphQL services.
- Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and usability.
What you'll need
- 5–8 years of experience building production UI with Angular (Angular 14–19+, standalone component architecture).
- Strong command of TypeScript and modern CSS/SCSS (Grid, Flexbox, animations).
- Solid experience with RxJS for managing asynchronous data streams.
- Knowledge of data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js, AG-Grid).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Integrate authentication using Angular OAuth2/OIDC components.
- Familiarity with backend technologies (FastAPI, Django/DRF, or PostgreSQL) to collaborate with backend engineers.
Nice to have
- Experience with alternative frameworks (React.js, Vue.js) for modernization across platforms.
- Familiarity with AWS core services (S3, IAM) or cloud-based deployments.
- Ability to handle data serialization for AI-powered features (structuring data for AI prompts, working with HTTP clients).
- Understanding of JSON, XML, and HTML parsing structures.
- Experience with observability/monitoring tools such as Grafana Faro.
- Git workflow experience with GitLab/GitHub (branching, merging, PR reviews).
- Interest or experience working on AI/ML-powered product features.
