Overview

Director SE – EMEA & APJ for Veeam Kasten, leading Kasten specialist solutions execution, territory technical win rates, and the field-to-product feedback loop.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop a distributed team of Kasten Specialist Solutions Engineers/Architects across EMEA and APJ.
• Own technical win standards across both regions, including discovery, solution architecture, demos, and POC execution.
• Partner with regional specialist and field sales leaders on territory planning, pipeline development, and pursuit strategy.
• Lead regular business reviews focused on technical pipeline health.
• Build Kasten and VDP Proxy technical capability via enablement, certification, and repeatable assets.
• Develop ecosystem technical relationships in region, including Red Hat, AWS, SUSE, and regional channel partners and system integrators.
• Represent customer requirements by owning the field-to-product feedback loop with Product Management and engineering.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of pre-sales or solutions engineering experience in enterprise software.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience.
• Track record leading pre-sales teams across multiple countries, cultures, and time zones, including coaching and performance management.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and virtualized environments in production or evaluation.
• Working knowledge of enterprise data protection and recovery.
• Experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals with long sales cycles, including channel/partner-influenced motions.
• Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into business value and present to technical executives and varied audiences.

Details

• Location: Remote, Germany.
• Travel: Up to 30% across EMEA and APJ, with occasional global travel.
