Overview

Visual Designer for Vercel’s Website Design Engineering team, designing web experiences and visual systems that get built and shipped.

What you'll do

• Define the visual language for vercel.com, nextjs.org, product launches, and Ship.
• Create memorable moments such as hero animations, launch films, event environments, and brand-partnership work.
• Own the creative vision end to end from concept to shipped results on the real web.
• Set and maintain the craft standards for typography, motion, and page-level detail.
• Work across mediums including web, motion, illustration, 3D, and identity.
• Influence Geist and shared patterns through system-level design work.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of design experience.
• Exceptional visual design instincts and creativity.
• A portfolio with shipped web work plus brand systems and multiple digital/physical mediums.
• Meaningful hands-on experience across several of: motion, 3D, illustration, environmental/event design, and interaction.
• Systems-minded approach (design components and patterns, not one-offs).
• Experience collaborating with engineers and understanding the web as a medium.
• Comfort with a technology-driven environment.

Details

• Work mode: remote or hybrid across SF, NY, London, or Berlin hubs.
• If within commuting distance of an office, includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday; otherwise fully remote.
