Vulnerability Management Engineer

Overview

Operate and mature an enterprise vulnerability management program across infrastructure, cloud, and application environments. Prioritize risk, guide remediation, support compliance, and improve security operations through automation and stakeholder collaboration.

What you'll do

• Operate vulnerability management platforms such as Qualys or Tenable.
• Maintain scalable scanning coverage across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Analyze findings, validate exploitability, and provide remediation guidance.
• Improve vulnerability SLAs, metrics, reporting, and risk prioritization.
• Partner with application, platform, and cloud teams on security requirements.
• Design automation and integrations for vulnerability tracking and reporting.
• Produce executive risk reports and mentor junior engineers.

What you'll need

• 3–6 years of vulnerability management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Experience administering Qualys, Tenable, or similar platforms.
• Experience working across multiple teams and disciplines.
• Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud environments.
• Familiarity with NIST, HITRUST, SOC 2, or similar compliance programs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
