About the Job

As a Web Developer at Biz Emporia, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing websites across multiple platforms. The role requires hands-on experience with CMS platforms, front-end technologies, clean coding practices, and website tracking implementations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining websites using WordPress and Shopify.
• Customizing themes, plugins, and templates based on business and client needs.
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented HTML and CSS code.
• Implementing and managing Google Tag Manager (GTM) containers.
• Adding, testing, and troubleshooting Google Ads conversion tracking, remarketing tags, and custom events.
• Ensuring website responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.
• Collaborating with SEO, performance marketing, and design teams to ensure accurate tracking and website functionality.
• Troubleshooting website, tracking, and performance-related issues.
• Implementing basic website security, backup, and maintenance best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience as a Web Developer.
• Strong hands-on experience with WordPress and Shopify development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and core web development concepts.
• Understanding of website architecture, responsive design, and coding standards.
• Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager and Google Ads tracking.
• PHP knowledge is a plus (good to have, not mandatory).
• Basic understanding of SEO, page speed optimization, and hosting environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
