Workday Data Migration Developer

Overview

Senior Data Migration Developer - Workday to join an offshore consulting team in India, working directly with clients on Workday data migration and conversion activities.

What you'll do

• Own mission-critical data requirements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Deliver client technology solutions across multiple industries.
• Work with clients to understand current data landscape and align strategy to future-state.
• Design and develop custom client solutions using tools including Applaud, Workday, SQL, PowerShell, Excel, and VBA.
• Derive actionable insights using quantitative methods.
• Act as a subject matter expert on business products, processes, and operations while staying up-to-date on industry news.

What you'll need

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Workday Data Migrations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• Experience loading data to Workday using EIB and Customer Central.
• Hands-on expertise across the conversion lifecycle: extraction, transformation, mapping, loading, and reconciliation.
• Strong SQL proficiency including complex queries for extraction, transformation, cleansing, and validation.
• Ability to create and maintain conversion mapping documents, data templates, and transformation logic.
