Working Student (f/m/d) – Physics / Electrical Engineering / Signal Processing (Thesis Option Available)

Overview

Working Student position in the Physics / Electrical Engineering / Signal Processing area (thesis option available) focused on building AI-driven data analysis workflows for semiconductor-related datasets.

What you'll do

• Design and implement AI-agent-based workflows for data analysis and pattern recognition.
• Integrate and configure large language models (e.g., Codestral-22B, Llama-3-8B) for data-analytics use cases.
• Analyze data streams and historical data to find patterns, anomalies, correlations, and optimization opportunities.
• Support development and testing of ML models for anomaly detection, pattern recognition, and automated diagnostics.
• Build data pipelines and interfaces connecting data sources to AI analysis workflows.
• Create automated reports, diagnostics, and notifications for service, manufacturing, and system application teams.
• Support GPU-based development and deployment environments for local tests and productive agent deployment.

What you'll need

• Currently enrolled student in Informatics/Software Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical program.
• Very good Python programming skills and interest in software development.
• Basic understanding of data analysis, machine learning, and statistical methods.
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
• Structured and systematic working style with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Very good English skills for an English-speaking work environment and support.
• Availability for regular on-site presence in Weilburg, at least 3 days per week.
