Overview

Software Engineer to build and run MCP-based services that expand context access for AI agents and integrate that access across enterprise systems.

What you'll do

• Build and operate MCP-based services for AI agents.
• Deliver reliable hosting and management for MCP services.
• Develop a read-only MCP service exposing approved enterprise context.
• Integrate AI-agent context access across multiple enterprise systems.
• Read and understand production code.
• Provide substantive feedback during code reviews.
• Own implementation, troubleshooting, and delivery through production.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of mid-level software development experience.
• Hands-on AI and agentic development experience.
• Strong understanding of AI principles and underlying technologies.
• Hands-on development experience in Java or Go (Java preferred).
• Experience using Git in a software engineering workflow.
• Proven end-to-end software product development experience.
• Current ability to write, read, and understand production code.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol setup and configuration.
• Understanding of common MCP troubleshooting scenarios.
• Experience owning and maintaining an MCP server.
• Experience building agent skills that achieved broad adoption.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to break problems into abstraction layers.

Details

• Based in LATAM and requires full working coverage of US Central Time.
• Full-time contract engagement at 40 hours per week through March 31, 2027; not contract-to-hire.
