What you'll do

• Manage professional teams and department activities to accomplish results.
• Design, implement, and deploy software components and solve difficult problems.
• Deliver high-quality software using secure, testable, maintainable, low-defects, efficient approaches and best practices.
• Conduct and provide useful code reviews for changes submitted by others.
• Improve development and testing processes for the team.
• Identify resource needs, set/balance goals, and optimize performance against department goals.
• Assess and manage risk, ensure compliance with laws/rules/policies, and escalate control issues transparently.

What you'll need

• 6–10 years of relevant experience in an Apps Development role OR senior-level experience in Enterprise Architecture.
• In-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function.
• Advanced knowledge across algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and networking.
• Knowledge of development approaches and how to use them effectively.
• Experience automating code quality, code performance, unit testing, and CI/CD build processing.
• Experience leading resources and serving as a functional subject matter expert.
• Communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence, and convince others.
