Account Director, Digital Native New Business

Overview

Account Director for OpenAI’s Digital Native New Business role, driving new enterprise opportunities across the full sales cycle.

What you'll do

• Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities.
• Lead enterprise prospects’ journeys from consideration through deployment.
• Partner with solutions and research engineering to build and execute customer programs and projects.
• Own a consumption revenue target.
• Analyze opportunity metrics and provide insights to internal stakeholders.
• Monitor industry landscape to contribute to product roadmap and corporate strategies.
• Collaborate across teams including solutions, marketing, communications, operations, people ops, finance, product, and engineering.

What you'll need

• 8+ years selling platform-as-a-service and/or software-as-a-service.
• Achieve revenue targets >$1M per year for more than 3 years.
• Manage and execute complex sales cycles with enterprise customers.
• Close deals with fast-growing, high-performance companies.
• Work directly with C-level executives.
• Communicate technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Gather and process market intelligence (industry, competitor, customer, prospect).

Details

• Based in San Francisco, New York, or Seattle offices, or remotely from within the U.S.
• Hybrid work model: 3 days in the office per week.
