Account Executive - Fed Civilian

Overview

Account Executive responsible for selling software or security solutions to federal civilian accounts, including SBA, DHA, and SSA. The role focuses on enterprise relationships, account strategy, and aligning technical solutions with customer goals.

What you'll do

• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and customer C-suite decision-makers.
• Create long-term account strategies aligned with customer goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs.
• Contribute to comprehensive account planning.
• Understand client businesses and strategic objectives.
• Align technical solutions with customer goals as a trusted advisor.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of full-cycle sales experience in software or security.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience selling to enterprise accounts.
• Experience engaging C-level stakeholders.
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies.
• Experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions.

Nice to have

• Established relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Deep understanding of technology’s role in high-level business goals.
• Strategic sales planning experience with a record of closing net new logos.
• Experience meeting or exceeding sales targets through channel partnerships.
• Experience using LLMs and generative AI tools for sales productivity.

Details

• Location: Washington, D.C., United States.
• Base salary: $145,250–$207,500 USD yearly, excluding commission, bonus, and equity.
