Account Executive - Small Business

Overview

Own small-business sales across Canada by sourcing prospects, demonstrating HubSpot, and closing new business. The role focuses on consultative, high-velocity selling to companies with 1–50 employees.

What you'll do

• Source outbound leads and manage a self-sourced sales pipeline.
• Conduct 30–40 prospective customer calls per day.
• Lead discovery calls and educate prospects through the buyer journey.
• Demonstrate HubSpot’s software and connect product value to customer goals.
• Qualify business needs and determine strategic fit.
• Negotiate and close 10–14 transactions per month when fully ramped.
• Partner with marketing and technology teams on sales strategies and product launches.

What you'll need

• At least 1 year of quota-carrying sales experience.
• A consistent track record of quota attainment.
• Ability to source leads independently.
• Consultative selling skills and ability to uncover customer pain points.
• Business acumen and experience selling to C-level executives and business owners.
• Experience with high-velocity sales cycles of 14–60 days.
• Ability to receive feedback, take ownership, solve problems, and collaborate.

Nice to have

• Business development representative experience.
• Experience selling to Sales, Marketing, Service, and IT teams.

• Remote role for candidates in Ontario or Quebec, Canada.
• Annual cash compensation is CAD 139,300.
