Account Executive, SME & Growth (Mountain / Central Time Zone)

Overview

Account Executive responsible for expanding the US SME market across Mountain and Central Time Zones. The role manages the full sales cycle for financial technology solutions and supports early customer success.

What you'll do

• Drive sales from prospecting through closing, ramping, and early customer success.
• Build expertise in payments acceptance, cross-border payments, billing, and spend management solutions.
• Exceed revenue targets through strategic solution positioning.
• Conduct technical and commercial consultations to identify customer needs.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and strategy teams on agreements and contracts.
• Improve sales processes, develop verticals, and enhance sales motions.
• Represent sales best practices through performance, documentation, and teamwork.

What you'll need

• At least 2 years of full-cycle fintech sales experience or proven success selling to finance departments.
• Success exceeding sales targets in technical or solution-based selling.
• Experience selling to ecommerce, SaaS, spend management, finance, technology-enabled, or professional services businesses.
• Consistent pipeline generation and outbound sales experience.
• Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce and sales enablement tools.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with payments, foreign exchange, or related financial infrastructure.
• Understanding of challenges facing internationally expanding SME and growth companies.
• Experience contributing to product launches, new verticals, or market expansions.
