Accounting Associate

Overview

Accounting Associate role within Caterpillar’s Transformation RTR (Global Finance Services Division) supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the Global Business Services scope.

What you'll do

• Drive continuous improvement activities by mapping current and future process maps.
• Drive corrective actions and develop, track, and measure qualitative and quantitative results.
• Promote innovation, simplification, and continuous improvement through best-practice sharing and advocacy.
• Partner with senior leadership to analyze opportunities and develop improvement plans for workflows/systems and technologies.
• Build roadmaps to support execution of continuous improvement initiatives across stakeholder teams.
• Ensure consistent use of continuous improvement tools, methodologies, and best practices to accelerate improvements at scale.
• Identify and engage subject matter experts for multi-functional continuous improvement efforts.

What you'll need

• Preferred previous consultancy experience (1–2 years) / overall experience 2–5 years.
• Strong digital acumen and knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Ability to use problem-solving skills and tactics to define problems, select solutions, and reduce performance gaps.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment without formal authority.
• Accounting certification or an equivalent combination of related experience.
• Skills desired include accuracy and attention to detail.
• Skills desired include analytical thinking.

Details

• Location: Bangalore, Karnataka (Whitefield office preference).
• Employment: Full-Time.
• Work schedule: 5-day-a-week schedule in the office; onsite five days a week.
