Accounting & Reporting Analyst - General

Overview

Accounting & Reporting Analyst - General role within ABB's Finance Services shared services organization, supporting accounts receivable and/or credit activities and record-to-report processes, reporting to the Team Lead - General Accounting.

What you'll do

• Perform general accounting activities and record financial transactions.
• Conduct investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary for any discrepancies.
• Execute accounting analyses and reports in support of finance and business leaders.
• Produce reports, statements of accounts, reconciliations and statements of sourcing.
• Carry out month-end book closing activities.
• Demonstrate ABB's core values of safety and integrity by owning your actions and supporting colleagues and the business.

What you'll need

• Experience in R2R, general accounting, general ledger and SAP in a shared services or manufacturing market.
• 4-7 years of experience in R2R and SAP.
• Enhanced knowledge of SAP.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
• A bachelor's degree or MBA in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Effective written and spoken communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in shifts.
