Accounts Receivable Specialist (Project-Based, Remote)

Overview

Accounts Receivable Specialist for a project-based role focused on owning the order-to-cash process, managing invoices/collections, reconciling e-commerce sales, and handling chargebacks and disputes.

What you'll do

• Invoice customers using vendor portals and an ERP system.
• Process and apply incoming payments across multiple platforms.
• Monitor customer accounts for overdue balances and follow up.
• Manage chargebacks and disputes end-to-end, including documentation and resolution tracking.
• Reconcile transactions and revenue from Amazon Seller Central and Merch by Amazon and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Ops, and Customer Success to address billing issues.
• Prepare aging and reconciliation reports, support audits, and assist with month-end close and cash forecasting.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of accounts receivable, collections, or general accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience reconciling using accounting ERP systems and Excel.
• Familiarity with Amazon marketplaces, especially Seller Central and Merch by Amazon.
• Experience managing chargebacks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience preparing chargeback dispute responses.
• Ability to navigate Amazon reporting and reconciliation tools.
• Experience improving systems and documenting processes.
