Overview

Cloud FinOps Analyst responsible for developing cloud financial management capabilities, improving cost transparency, and enabling forecasting and optimization across cloud platforms.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain cloud cost forecasting models.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to attribute costs and identify cost drivers.
• Build and improve real-time cost dashboards and forecasts.
• Define cloud cost KPIs, scorecards, and standard metrics.
• Present data visualizations with actionable recommendations.
• Identify cost anomalies and optimization opportunities.
• Support FinOps strategy, governance, and stakeholder onboarding.

What you'll need

• 4–10 years of experience is listed for the role.
• 2–5+ years of experience in Cloud FinOps, cloud cost management, FP&A, cloud platform operations, or technical financial analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP billing and pricing models.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with cost allocation, forecasting, anomaly detection, and optimization analysis.

Nice to have

• FinOps Certified Practitioner or a cloud certification.
• Experience supporting regulated industries.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
