Overview

AI Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable, observable AI-powered applications for a data and analytics platform.

What you'll do

• Design and deliver end-to-end AI applications from architecture through deployment and continuous improvement.
• Build agentic AI solutions using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, orchestration, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Productionize ML solutions across data preparation, feature engineering, training/adaptation, evaluation, deployment, inference, monitoring, and retraining.
• Develop backend services and APIs in Python, and web experiences using TypeScript and React where required.
• Integrate enterprise data sources, APIs, vector stores, model endpoints, and business systems into secure AI workflows.
• Implement responsible AI and security controls, including access control, data protection, auditability, guardrails, traceability, and human oversight.
• Run production operations with logging, tracing, alerting, incident response, performance optimization, and documentation.

What you'll need

• Typically 5+ years of professional software, data, or ML engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Data Science (Master’s preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with software architecture and maintainable application design.
• Hands-on ML lifecycle experience: experimentation, pipelines, evaluation, deployment, inference, and monitoring.
• Hands-on experience building LLM/agentic AI applications with prompt/context design, tool use, retrieval, orchestration, evaluation, and guardrails.
• Experience with cloud-native/enterprise platforms and production engineering practices, including CI/CD, identity/access controls, and observability.
• Working knowledge of modern data technologies such as SQL and Spark/distributed processing, plus data lakes/warehouses.
