Overview
AI Engineer position focused on agentic coding to build and deploy production software that automates and improves healthcare business workflows for non-technical teams.
What you'll do
- Use AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, OpenCode) to rapidly build and iterate on production applications.
- Automate business workflows via custom tools, scripts, and integrations that reduce manual work.
- Develop LLM-based applications such as document processing, intelligent assistants, and data extraction workflows.
- Create proof-of-concepts to demonstrate feasibility and business value of AI initiatives.
- Deploy AI applications to production, support end users, and iterate based on feedback.
- Evaluate emerging agentic coding capabilities and share informed opinions on what works in production.
- Ensure AI solutions meet security, privacy, and compliance requirements for healthcare data.
What you'll need
- Extensive hands-on agentic coding experience with Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, OpenCode, or similar AI coding agents.
- Portfolio of AI-developed projects, with examples such as GitHub repos, deployed demos, or production systems.
- Experience deploying AI-powered applications used by real end users.
- Workflow automation experience using custom scripts, integrations, or low-code platforms.
- Technical foundations including Python, TypeScript, web application development, SQL/databases, and REST APIs.
- Experience with LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI) and prompt/context engineering.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and understanding of AI fundamentals (e.g., transformers, agentic loops).
