Analog Layout Design Engineer

Overview

Design complex analog signal circuit layouts from a given design specification and verify them against process design rules and reliability checks.

What you'll do

• Design complex layouts of analog signal circuits for a given design specification.
• Run the complete set of design verification tools for process design rules, electron migration, voltage drop (IR), ESD, and other reliability checks on layouts.
• Design and analyze floorplans, power grid, ESD, and bumps, and perform all required verification on analog blocks.
• Perform micro-floor planning and detail signal planning of complex analog circuits to meet performance and electrical requirements (shielding, matching) for critical signals, optimizing for area, power, RV, and performance.
• Develop and drive new and innovative analog layout methodologies to improve layout productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with analog circuit design, process technology, and package design teams to meet design specifications, plan work, and negotiate layout trade-offs as needed.
• Troubleshoot a wide variety of issues up to and including design and tool/flow/methodology used in analog layout design.

What you'll need

• BTech/MTech.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
