Overview
SOC Analyst I (Risk Management, Information Security) supporting a global security infrastructure by monitoring systems for threats and responding to alerts through triage and incident handling.
What you'll do
- Monitor systems and correlate data from multiple tools to detect events of interest.
- Respond to security incident and investigation requests within defined service level targets.
- Conduct triage of alerts to determine incident type and required response.
- Scan for vulnerabilities and manage monitoring and reporting tools.
- Drive containment strategies during data loss or breach events.
- Perform basic forensics by examining computers, system logs, applications, and networks to locate evidence.
What you'll need
- 2 to 5 years of experience supporting a complex global environment.
- Extensive experience in SIEM, IDS, and APT.
- Hands-on investigation and log analysis exposure.
- Experience with defensive security technologies (e.g., antivirus, firewalls, event monitoring, data loss prevention, IDS, web content filtering).
- Sound understanding of OS (Unix/Linux, Windows), IPS/IDS, VPN, firewalls, and application security.
- Accredited certification on incident handling (CEH, GCIH, ECIH).
Nice to have
- Knowledge of SSL/TLS, certificates, and encryption methods.
- Exposure to security tools (e.g., Netsparker, Nessus, Tenable Security Center, Snort IDS, Wireshark, DLP software).

- Location: Hyderabad.
- Reports to: Manager, Cyber Security.
- Working hours: Full Time with a hybrid work model (subject to policy changes).
- Shift options: Day shift (8:00am to 5:00pm), Split shift (3:00pm to 12:00am), Night shift (6:00pm to 3:00am), Sunrise shift (10:00pm to 7:00am).
