Analyst

Overview

Quality Engineer Deputy responsible for reviewing and verifying supplier documentation against specifications, reporting to the Engineering Manager.

What you'll do

• Ensure supplier verification documents meet requirements.
• Create comment documents where supplier documents are not approved.
• Create QS NCR where a document is rejected.
• Ensure Desk Release documentation is reviewed, send release notes to suppliers, and send approved documents to Document Management (where required) for upload into SAP.
• Deliver timely and quality review of supplier documentation.
• Participate in HSSE / DQC meetings.
• Approve or reject supplier documents.

What you'll need

• Relevant Mechanical or Metallurgical engineering degree.
• 3 - 5 years relevant industrial experience.
• Quality focused professional attitude.
• Systematic and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of ERP systems.
• Personal computer proficiency and Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• NDT level 2 in UT, RT, PT and MT.
• SAP basic knowledge.
• Initiative, flexibility, cooperation and leadership skills.
• High personal motivation and active pursuit of solutions.
• High integrity, ethical values and good social skills.

Nice to have

• Welding and NDT international certifications.
• Experience preferably from Oil & Gas.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of SAP.

Details

• Location: Mumbai, India.
• Key interfaces include the QS Team Lead, vendors and buyers, and regular meetings with the Engineering Manager (ITES department) and Quality Manager in Norway and Germany.
