Analyst - SOX

Overview

Analyst - SOX is responsible for planning and executing SOX compliance testing for business and financial reporting controls, including Test of Design and Test of Operating effectiveness.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute S-Ox compliances through Test of Design and OE testing for assigned controls.
• Conduct annual review of existing RCMs and support updates based on process/people changes.
• Draft and align newly added SOX control language with process owners and/or key stakeholders.
• Perform process walkthroughs and document testing observations for assigned controls.
• Discuss observations with process owners and support remediation planning.
• Prepare periodic SOX updates for Senior Leadership and/or the Audit Committee.
• Identify control environment improvement opportunities and share recommendations with the team.

What you'll need

• Good understanding of SOX compliances.
• 2 to 4 years of post-qualification experience in SOX compliance.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills, including strong problem-solving.
• Ability to handle assignments independently and maintain data integrity/accuracy.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks within defined timelines.
• Good interpersonal skills to complete deliverables on time.
