Capital Markets Risk Analyst, Investment Solutions, Associate, Wealth Management

Overview

Support the Capital Markets Risk Team within Wealth Management’s Investment Solutions Division. Analyze financial data, support risk and control initiatives, and contribute to regulatory, data transformation, and AI enablement activities.

What you'll do

• Gather and analyze large financial and other data sets for risk and issue management.
• Communicate and escalate findings to appropriate stakeholders.
• Prepare, review, and deliver risk and control initiatives across business coverage.
• Extract, organize, standardize, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Analyze daily trade data across different security types.
• Review Capital Markets counterparties annually.

What you'll need

• Undergraduate or graduate qualification in BCom or BMS.
• 3–5 years of financial industry work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database skills.
• Experience analyzing large data sets.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Bloomberg.
• Understanding of fixed income and equities.
• Awareness of financial services risk and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts and implementation.
