Overview

Support the Capital Markets Risk Team within Wealth Management’s Investment Solutions Division. The role focuses on financial data analysis, risk and issue management, control initiatives, and regulatory support for U.S.-based risk management.

What you'll do

• Gather and analyse financial and other data for risk and issue management.
• Communicate and escalate findings to appropriate stakeholders.
• Prepare, review, and deliver risk and control initiatives across Capital Markets business coverage.
• Extract, standardize, and analyse data from multiple sources.
• Analyse daily trade data across different security types.
• Contribute to data transformation and AI enablement initiatives.
• Perform annual counterparty reviews within Capital Markets.

What you'll need

• Undergraduate or graduate qualification in BCOM or BMS.
• 3 to 5 years of financial industry work experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and database skills.
• Experience analysing large data sets.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Understanding of fixed income and equities.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Bloomberg.
• Awareness of the financial services risk and regulatory landscape.
• Knowledge and implementation of artificial intelligence concepts.
